Take bribes and do your job!

"Referees should only pretend to fall for the bait, but make sure the result doesn't favor those offering the bribe," Fanny Amun, acting Secretary-General of the Nigerian Football Association said. Reuters
They guy who said that corruption becomes a habit, then a lifestyle, then a ritual in societies where poverty and backwardness eat up minds was not brain-farting. In Nigeria bribary became something common among soccer referees... They can take bribes and be fair... The question is... if they take bribes to be fair, why the hell would they take bribes in the first place??

I wonder if the rules apply to dirty politics... Where the US bribes China to be fair when it comes to the North Korean nuclear problem... (oh hey, we are no longer hearing any news from North Korea huh... did anyone bribe someone to be silent or what?).

Al Qaeda can bribe Israel and American soldiers in Iraq as well so that more Palestinians and Iraqis would be killed and Al Qaeda continues its holy fucken war against oppression. Similarly, Hamas can pay Israel to kill more Palestinians so that they can kill more Israelis and stick to the freedom fighters' role.

Waiting for the day the Egyptian government announces that its officials are ready to accept bribes in order to stop robbing the country's treasures. That way, Egyptians will be bribing the government to do its job... Great idea, isn't it??...

Wherever there is power, there's abuse of power; that's human nature and will never change. Rotten species, aren't we?

@ Omni: Yes power can corrupt, however if you have proper mechanisms of checks and balances in place then the effects of corruption and the opportunities to engage in corrupt activities decrease. Indeed, they act as a major deterrent especially when your post lasts only so long as you have popular support.

Sadly, Egyptian politicians aren't accountable to anyone bu the NDP and we all know that they are the most corrupt of them all.

Not sure how long this link will be available.

But, You must watch this.
