The photo below shows how much land Israel has taken by occupation from the Palestinains. This is one face of the coin. The other face of the coin is this photo shows how much land the Palestinians have given to Israel through:

I'm confused. Was Palestine a country or a British-mandated colony? I've heard so many of both answers that I've almost lost hope in trying to figure out what it really was. Some people say country, others say British-mandated colony. Which was it?!?
